Meal replacements beat standard diets for diabetic weight loss

New research shows that portion-controlled meal replacement diets are more effective than standard diets at both initial weight loss and long-term weight maintenance in type 2 diabetics.

A university-based clinical trial recently compared the effectiveness of a portion-controlled meal replacement diet (PCD) to a standard diet (SD) based on recommendations by the American Diabetes Association. The focus of the study was to compare each diet in achieving and maintaining weight loss among obese subjects with type 2 diabetes.

I'm really enjoying the way you report the findings of these complex studies. There is a lot of misinformation out there regarding diet and nutrition, and it can be hard to read through the studies to get to the root of the issue. It's quite helpful to read in this format!
